Chris Sutton identifies the “major thing” Jurgen Klopp needs to do to help Liverpool defeat Crystal Palace decisively.

Chris Sutton, a former English player, has requested that Darwin Nunez start for Liverpool against Crystal Palace.

Nunez, according to Sutton, needs to get the start for the Reds to win their first game of the year in gameweek two.

On August 7, Darwin Nunez entered the game as a substitute against Fulham.

In their 2-2 draw at Craven Cottage, he scored one and provided an assist for another. On August 5, Crystal Palace lost to Arsenal 2-0 in their opening game.

On August 15, the Reds will play Crystal Palace at Anfield in their inaugural home game.

Chris Sutton forecast the results of the next Premier League games and predicted that the Reds will have an easy first game at Anfield.

He said:

”Palace got off to a bad start losing at home to Arsenal, and things don’t get any easier for them here.

“Liverpool cannot slip up again in this one after dropping points against Fulham.”

He added that Nunez should be the new striker upfront in place of Roberto Firmino.

”The Reds have got a few injury problems, but the big thing for Jurgen Klopp is that he has to start new striker Darwin Nunez.

“Even some fans would question Klopp if he leaves him on the bench, but I don’t see that happening. This is going to be routine for Liverpool and a difficult night for Palace.”

Sutton predicted that the Reds will register a thumping 4-0 win over Crystal Palace.
