Only three years prior, despite putting forth a sizable contract offer, Manchester United was pursuing the England starlet. However, they were turned down in favor of a move to Germany.

After beating out Manchester United to sign Cody Gakpo, Liverpool may add three players.

The 19-year-old joined the Bundesliga team in January 2020 for £25m from Birmingham City and has since developed into one of the most highly sought-after players in the world.

He consistently starts for England and performed well alongside Declan Rice.

It is well known that Bellingham is eager to transfer to a better club, and Real Madrid, Liverpool, Manchester City, Chelsea, PSG, and Manchester City are all vying for his signature on the contract.

If Bellingham signs a long-term contract, he will undoubtedly see a significant pay raise as a result. According to some reports, a contract worth £300,000 per week is being offered.

The youngster, however, has already demonstrated that he is not driven by money and that the sporting endeavor will have a significant role in determining his destiny, as he did when rejecting United three years ago.

When Bellingham was just 16 years old, United, along with Liverpool, Arsenal, and Chelsea, showed great interest in signing him after watching him transition into adult football in the Championship.
