“I am coming to Liverpool on one condition” – £45m Liverpool transfer target set to change agent as he eyes ‘big move’ to Anfield

In order to complete a “big move” away from Brighton, Moises Caicedo is reportedly a target for Liverpool. Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Caicedo will soon have a new agent.

This season, the Ecuadorian has been in outstanding form for the Seagulls, and it’s rumored that Chelsea is also interested in the versatile midfielder.

The 21-year-old is ‘open’ to joining a top club, according to the Italian transfer expert, but he isn’t sure which team he would prefer to move to right now.

“I think Moises Caicedo would be open to joining any top club, this is why he’s going to have new agents soon,” Romano told Caught Offside.

“I don’t know his preference as of today, I’m not aware of any conversation with friends about Liverpool, but for sure he’s hoping for a big move.”

The problems Jurgen Klopp’s team is having in the center of the park have only been underlined more by Liverpool’s recent matches against Brentford and Wolves, strengthening the case for the club to recruit a new midfielder this month.

The team led by Julien Lopetegui passed through our midfield far too easily and appeared to be on the verge of scoring each time they advanced.

Last night, Thiago Alcantara won six more tackles by himself than all of our other midfielders combined. At times, it appears as though the Spaniard is trying to handle everything by himself.

There is currently a need for a player like Caicedo to join our team because Gini Wijnaldum lacks the energy and work ethic that Caicedo brings to our midfield.

According to recent sources, the Brighton star is “absolutely interested” in transferring to Anfield, and Roberto De Zerbi’s team values him at around £45 million.

But because of his Amex deal, which runs through 2025, the south coast team might want a significantly greater sum either this month or towards the end of the year.
