Liverpool star James Milner has sent a four-word message to Liverpool’s new signing during his debut
In the closing minutes of Liverpool’s preseason match against Manchester United, James Milner continued in trying to inspire the emerging Liverpool players who were entering the field.
Following an emphatic message to his colleagues, the Englishman gave Darwin Nunez a reassuring tap while encouraging the Uruguayan with a simple “all the best, Dar.”
The 23-year-old made an encouraging, if not world-beating, performance against Erik ten Hag’s team, which prompted some fans to express doubts about the striker’s skills.
Such worries are, of course, completely uncalled for so early in preseason, and there is no doubt that the £64 million investment will prove to be worthwhile.
