Paris Saint-German are reportedly eyeing a move for Borussia Dortmund star and rumoured Liverpool target Erling Haaland as a replacement for Kylian Mbappe.

Haaland is PSG’s priority to succeed Mbappe at the club, who is expected to depart France this summer for a free agent move to Real Madrid.

Replacing Kylian Mbappe will sure be an uphill task for the League 1 giant, after paying a reported £166m for France International 2017 according to reports.

However, it appears that Haaland is now on the club’s radar to replace the French superstar, with Liverpool also said to be interested in the striker.

As per Daily Star, the Reds are one of four Premier League clubs chasing the 21-year-old attacker, with Haaland’s agent Mino Raiola reportedly telling Liverpool a move to England is now likely for the Norwegian international.

The report added that the likes of FC Barcelona and Real Madrid could struggle to afford Haaland’s total package, with Raiola expected to be offered one of the highest agent fees in football history.

PSG could be one of the few clubs that can afford Haaland, and for Liverpool, this will be a huge blow to Jurgen Klopp’s side, who could use a new focal point to lead their attack.

Surely, Haaland will be one of the most in-demand players in the summer transfer window, however, for Liverpool, the attacker is more than likely off to PSG given the financial abilities.

With 23 goals in 20 games in all competitions, for the Norwegian, he is the ideal man to replace Kylian Mbappe who is almost certainly heading to Real Madrid.
