“it’s my dream to play for Liverpool,” says USA international right-back Kyle Duncan
K.V Oostende’s right-back Kyle Duncan has told the club’s official website that he wants to play for Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool.
Duncan has said that it is his dream to play for Liverpool and he has said that he will continue to work hard to achieve his goal.
The 24-year-old American international right-back, the nephew of George Weah, recently struck a deal with Belgian club K.V. Oostend in November 2021 to join on a free transfer after leaving the New York Red Bulls.
“I would just love to inspire people. There are many young football players like me in America, and I want to show them that you can really make your dreams come true, said Duncan.
“If you believe in yourself and you work very hard, you can go far. There are still some players from the US in Germany and even here in Belgium, but my dream competition is the Premier League.
“Liverpool are my favourite team, they really play the type of game I dream of. Yes, it’s my dream to play there someday.
“Whether that will ever happen, I don’t know, but I will continue to work hard to keep taking steps.”
Liverpool have one of the best right-backs in the world in Trent Alexander-Arnold and for Duncan to realise his dream of playing for the Reds he will need to up his game.
Duncan has just moved to Europe, and clearly, the right-back will have to impress in the Belgian league to attract the attention of Liverpool.
