Marcus Rashford sends message to Manchester United fans amid Barcelona transfer link.
Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford has admitted that he “would never say no” to playing outside the Premier League.
During the week reports emerged stating that Barcelona are ready to push for the signing of the England international.
Rashford has struggled to replicate his last season form when he scored 21 goals and 15 assists in all competitions for United
Having suffered an injury against Atalanta and undergone surgery in the summer, his place in Ralf Rangnick’s starting line-up now seems vulnerable.
The 24-year-old has only played for the Red Devils throughout his career, having come through the ranks of the Academy, but he is now linked with a possible to La Liga giant Barcelona.
Rashford was asked earlier this year whether he would ever play abroad and his comments are certainly interesting according to ManchesterEveningnews
“I would never say no,” Rashford answered to The Guardian.
“Other than United? I’m a big fan of Real Madrid and Barcelona because they’ve always had great players and played attractive football. Everybody watches Real Madrid and Barcelona.”
It remains to be seen if he will consider the move, Rashford currently earns £200,000 per-week and has a contract at Old Trafford until June 2023.
