Rangnick Identifies area of weakness tells Manchester United to Sign £90m Liverpool target.
Manchester United Interim boss Ralf Rangnick has reportedly told the club to sign Dortmund youngster Jude Bellingham.
The midfielder is a top target of rival club, Liverpool according to English Media.
However, Rangnick has instructed United’s staff to take a closer look at Bellingham, as he recommended potential players to sign after coming in according to ESPN.
Recently, the Daily Mirror said that Jurgen Klopp was prepared to break Liverpool’s transfer record to sign Bellingham.
Also that Klopp was ready to sanction a deal worth £90 million to sign the 18-year-old midfielder.
United are known to spend big when it comes to signings compared to their rivals Liverpool.
United have spent big to bring in the likes of Jadon Sancho, Bruno Fernandes, and Harry Maguire in recent years.
Liverpool on the other hand haven’t always been the most lavish spenders.
Another advantage the Red Devils have is their relationship with Dortmund, having signed Sancho last summer, If they are to lock horns for Bellingham.
Any of the clubs who sign him will have made a very wonderful signing, considering his abilities.
Bellingham is already tipped to be a star of the future and looks set to have a huge role for England in the years to come after already becoming a fairly established member of Gareth Southgate’s squad.
If United are to win the battle for his signature then he will certainly work into their midfield role ahead of Fred and Scott Mc Tominay.
To have an edge over Liverpool, Ralf Rangnick will first need to secure a champions league spot with Manchester United to lure the youngster to Old Trafford.
