Team news and injury update
The reds have been handed a major blow with Mo’ Salah ahead of Wednesday’s Premier League clash with Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
The reds attacker went down with a foot injury in the 2-0 win over Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday lunchtime, and might be a major doubt for Liverpool.
Ibrahima Konate will be looking to start for the reds after recovering from a knock in time for Wednesday’s game, but the Reds are otherwise in good shape for the journey to the Emirates stadium.
Jordan Henderson and Fabinho would not be dropped for a game of this magnitude either, and Thiago Alcantara was named on the bench against Brighton – likely with this game in mind – and could now replace Naby Keita.

Luis Diaz did not suffer any lasting damage from Robert Sanchez’s high tackle – which somehow went unpunished – in the Brighton win.
Diogo Jota might start against Arsenal as he will be looking to take Salah’s spot in the attack, while Sadio Mane will hope to fend off competition from Roberto Firmino after recovering from injury to lead the line.
