Mohamed Salah sends blunt contract message to FSG at Liverpool Fc

Liverpool Superstar forward Mo’ Salah is presently in the final two years of his Liverpool contract.

However, the reds chiefs have been told it would be ‘the biggest disgrace ever’ if they fail to offer Mo’ Salah the contract he deserves.

The Egypt international Mo’ Salah has been in sensational form for Liverpool this season, scoring 27 times in 32 appearances in all competitions for Jurgen Klopp’s side.

The Reds have extended the contracts of several players in recent months, but Salah is yet to put pen-to-paper on a new deal unlike many of his team-mates.

Hence, The Anfield outfit are keen and eager to reward Mo’ Salah for his non-stop outstanding performance and support since arriving from Roma for £43.9million in the summer of 2017.

And speaking back in January on his Liverpool future, Salah revealed he is not asking for ‘crazy stuff’ and claimed his Anfield future is no longer in his own hands.

“I want to stay, but it’s not in my hands. It’s in their hands. They know what I want. I’m not asking for crazy stuff,” the forward told GQ magazine.

“The thing is when you ask for something and they show you they can give you something, they should. Because they appreciate what you did for the club. I’ve been here for my fifth year now.

“I know the club very well. I love the fans. The fans love me. But with the administration, they have [been] told the situation. It’s in their hands.”

And former Sheffield United goalkeeper Paddy Kenny, speaking to Football Insider, thinks the longer there is a stalemate the more Liverpool supporters should be concerned.

He said “You look at the signing of Luis Diaz, who is a brilliant player, and you think, ‘has he been signed as protection in case Salah or Sadio Mane go?’

“That’s smart business as the club are preparing for the future with a younger player who is clearly going to make a massive impact for a long time.

“But is he going to score 40 goals a season like Salah? That’s unlikely. Liverpool can’t afford to lose a player with that goals potential. They don’t come around very often.

“He’s the best player in the Premier League and failing to agree a new contract with him would be the biggest disgrace ever.

“There’s no way Jurgen Klopp doesn’t want him there for the next three or four years. He knows he’s irreplaceable and he’s the best around. Compromise and agree a deal.”
