Mohamed Salah agent speaks out over Liverpool exit rumours
Foot Mercato reported that Mohamed Salah may move to Spain, and Ramy Abbas Issa, the player’s agent, has offered his candid opinion.
Salah signed new terms with the Reds last summer, and his deal with them runs through the summer of 2025. The deal put an end to rumors that the Egyptian might have departed Anfield and speculation about his future.
Salah, according to a report on Saturday from Foot Mercato, is “increasingly pondering” leaving Liverpool. Also, it was implied that Salah would prefer a move to Spain but did not say which team.
The story was posted on Twitter by the author, Santi Aouna, which led to a response from Salah’s representative. Ramy Abbas Issa, who is Salah’s agent, has hit out at the report with a brief response.
He wrote: “Where did you get this from if not even Mohamed and I discussed this? Please tell us.”
Since signing a new deal, Salah has scored 22 goals in all competitions this season. His brace against Manchester United earlier this month saw him break Robbie Fowler’s record to become Liverpool’s top scorer in Premier League history.
