Liverpool receives major boost to sign 22-year-old star midfielder as he denies joining Real Madrid

French International and AS Monaco star midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni denies Real Madrid have won the race to sign him for €100million which opens room for Liverpool to jump into the race.

The 22-year-old is one of the best midfielders in the world, and a move to Liverpool or Real Madrid would raise his game even more.

With Los Blancos winning the Champions League final in Paris last month, joining either club will transform his reputation and propel him into the race to be Europe’s best club.

Tchouameni’s signing would be another win for the Spanish team over Liverpool, although the player himself claims he has yet to decide on his future.

“No, not yet,” he told French newscaster Telefoot when asked if he had decided on which club he will join if he leaves AS Monaco.

Despite Tchouameni’s claims that he hasn’t decided between Liverpool and Real Madrid, Telefoot reports that the La Liga has received confirmation from the midfielder that he wants to join them this summer.

“I’m not troubled by [rumours], because it’s a position I’ve always wanted to be in,” he continued.

“As long as I’m followed by the top clubs, that means I’m doing good things.”
