Liverpool transfer: Liverpool have initiated contact with Argentinian World Cup Breakout star who Messi loves ahead of January transfer window
Benfica midfielder has been contacted by Liverpool in preparation for a possible transfer during the January transfer window.
At the World Cup, Enzo Fernandez has been in outstanding form for Argentina, helping his nation get to the semifinals.

A highlight was a goal in the group stage, and there is no question that clubs throughout Europe will be closely monitoring his performances in Qatar.
Record now claims that Liverpool has already gotten in touch with Fernandez about a prospective transfer. According to the article, Benfica anticipates a sale in the near future.
Since Jude Bellingham is expected to cost too much for Liverpool, they are now interested in the Argentine midfielder.
Although Fernandez’s release clause is now set at €120 million, it’s unlikely that Liverpool will agree to pay that amount.
Benfica may reluctantly permit Fernandez to depart for a lower sum if he is aggressively lobbying for a move in order to prevent turmoil in the camp.
Without a doubt, Benfica will fight tooth and nail to hang onto him, but it can be difficult for a player to say no to Premier League clubs when they approach him.
