Brighton give Moises Caicedo update as Liverpool are keen to sign star
Liverpool are keen and eager to sign Brighton sensational midfielder in the January transfer window.
Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi was asked about Liverpool-linked midfielder Moises Caicedo amid January interest in the Ecuadorian.
Chelsea are also in the market for the youngster, who signed for Brighton when current Blues boss Graham Potter was at the helm.
“It’s difficult to change with another player now, inside the season,” De Zerbi said, having seen forward Leandro Trossard leave the Seagulls to join Arsenal.
“I hope he finishes the season with us, but in the transfer market it is always difficult to give an answer.
“When there are some bigger teams [who] want our player it’s good news for us.
“The best solution is he can finish the season with us, and for him next summer is better to change team.”
