Transfer news: Jurgen Klopp given ‘green light’ for second Liverpool signing as date set for star midfielder
Liverpool have already moved to add Alexis Mac Allister to their midfield ranks this summer.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has received the green light to make Bayern Munich midfielder Ryan Gravenberch his newest summer signing for the Reds, according to reports.
The Reds are said to be keen on improving their ranks in the middle of the park before next season gets underway after making a start with the capture of Alexis Mac Allister, who recently joined the Anfield giants from Brighton and Hove Albion.

There is seemingly a chance that Liverpool could follow up the signing of Mac Allister by bringing Gravenberch to Merseyside, with the Dutchman having failed to set the world alight at Bayern Munich since making the switch from Ajax last summer.
He is already keen on leaving the Allianz Arena in search of a new challenge, according to The Mirror, with Liverpool chasing a move for his signature over the coming weeks.
It is said that Liverpool’s interest in Gravenberch is at an ‘advanced’ stage, with club bosses prepared to back Klopp in his bid to land the 21-year-old this summer.
However, the player himself has already confirmed that his future will not be decided until after the end of the under-21 European Champions, which will conclude at the start of next month.
“I haven’t really talked to the coach about that yet, that will come after the European Championship when I’m back from Georgia and Romania, then we will see how it is,” he said.
“I just want to play more, preferably at Bayern Munich, and otherwise at a club where I play 100 per cent
