“They are the biggest clubs for me but I love…” – Liverpool and Real Madrid are plotting transfer move for Southampton star after strong transfer claims
Liverpool and Real Madrid are showing an interest in young Southampton defender Armel Bella-Kotchap.
Bella-Kotchap, who formerly played for German club VFL Bochum, only joined Southampton during the summer transfer window.
The 20-year-old has only played in five Premier League games, but based on his performances thus far, Southampton made a wise choice in bringing him in.
Real Madrid and Liverpool are currently among the teams showing interest in Bella-Kotchap, said Fichajes.
Liverpool hasn’t been hesitant to raid Southampton in recent years to bolster their roster.
Among the players who have relocated to Merseyside are Virgil van Dijk, Sadio Mane, Ricky Lambert, and Adam Lallana.
Liverpool may be looking to strengthen several positions on the field after a bad start to the season since players like Joe Gomez haven’t performed well when called upon in the first few games.
Liverpool are substantially stronger when Joel Matip, Ibrahima Konate, and Van Dijk are healthy, but Jurgen Klopp’s team has struggled with injuries this season, and Gomez has demonstrated that he may no longer be capable of performing at the greatest level for Liverpool.
