Liverpool could offer star forward Roberto Firmino in Exchange to Secure a Midfielder
According to reports Liverpool are prepared to offer Roberto Firmino in exchange for a midfielder targetted by Juventus
The Reds’ season has gotten off to a poor start, which hasn’t been helped by the club’s injury crisis.
Thiago Alcantara, Naby Keita, Curtis Jones, and Alex Oxlade-injuries Chamberlain’s have severely hampered Jurgen Klopp’s options in midfield, leaving him with 10 players out of the first team who are presently out due to injury.
As a result, Liverpool have been linked with a whole host of names over recent days including Frankie De Jong, Marcos Llorente, Youri Tielemans, and Leandro Paredes
Paredes is the most likely to join Jurgen Klopp’s side according to calciomercato.web who claims that as well as being a target for Juventus, the Argentine is also subject of interest from Liverpool.
The report adds that even though both players are valued at around the same amount, the Anfield chiefs might be willing to accept Firmino in exchange for the midfielder.
However, Paredes is keen on a move to Serie A with Juventus who remain very much in the driving seat to secure the 27-year-old’s signature.
Having lost the likes of Sadio Mane, Divock Origi, and Takumi Minamino this summer so this seems a very unlikely transaction, as Liverpool will not be willing to lose Firmino.
