Neil Jones agrees with Pep Guardiola on ‘exceptional’ Midfield target after making a huge and interesting Liverpool transfer claim
Neil Jones drops interesting Liverpool transfer claim on midfield target Guardiola says is ‘exceptional’
Jude Bellingham is a midfielder who is highly regarded by all of Europe’s top heavyweight teams.
Pep Guardiola called Bellingham “outstanding” after watching him play against Manchester City in the Champions League.
According to Neil Jones of Goal, speaking to Redmen TV:
“Liverpool want Jude Bellingham. The educated thing is that he leaves Dortmund next summer. Almost 100%. That was sort of made clear that he’s not going anywhere this year.”
Of course, there will be some challenges in the path of a potential transfer, not the least of which is the estimated £86 million price tag that Borussia Dortmund will attach to their prize asset in the upcoming summer.
“I think he’s going to come to the Premier League,” the reporter added. “Me personally? I think Liverpool have got a chance but I think the rivals are the traditional rivals.”
Although Jones’ remarks do not guarantee that the Englishman will wear the famed red shirt of Liverpool next season, it is consoling to know that the Reds are anticipated to throw their weight around and have a reasonably respectable chance of fending off any competitors.
