Liverpool reportedly have Molde striker Datro Fofana in their books as they look to bolster their attacking department.

Darwin Nunez joined Liverpool during the summer transfer window, but given that Roberto Firmino’s contract expires at the end of the current campaign, Liverpool may try to add another attacking player soon.

Nunez has failed to maintain a regular level of play since joining Liverpool, but a strong performance against Tottenham suggests that a wide position might be in his future.

The 15 goals the Ivory Coast international has scored so far this season suggest that he may be on the path to becoming a Premier League striker.

Erling Haaland spent some of his formative years at Molde before eventually relocating to Manchester City; as a result of his professional development, Liverpool may decide to intensify their interest in Fofana.
