Firmino or Keita might be offered by Liverpool in a trade to capture the 29-year-old midfielder:

According to Calcio Mercato (via the Daily Mail), Liverpool is considering giving Naby Keita or Roberto Firmino to Inter Milan in an effort to capture their player Marcelo Brozovic.

Thiago Alcantara sustained an injury in Saturday’s (August 6) 2-2 draw at Fulham, joining Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Curtis Jones in need of medical attention.

The aforementioned source claims that Liverpool believes Brozovic can help them out of their midfielder shortage.

One of the best in his field is the Croatian. Brozovic, who is renowned for his technical prowess and work ethic, has distinguished himself at Inter, who are apparently unwilling to let him go.

The Merseyside giants are reportedly considering offering one of their first-team talents, Firmino or Keita, to persuade the Serie A outfit to reconsider.

Roberto Firmino or Naby Keita may be offered by Liverpool in exchange for Marcelo Brozovic.

Even if Keita and Firmino are competent players, Liverpool might have to shell out a lot of money to get the Croatian international.

Brozovic, who is regarded as Inter’s beating heart, is now under contract with the team through June 2026.

Only a staggering offer, it is said, could persuade the Serie A champions for 2020–21 to change their minds.

Brozovic, who joined the team in July 2016, has so far played in 290 games for Inter in all competitions, scoring 28 goals and dishing out 37 assists.
