Transfer news: After Alexis MacAllister, Fabrizio Romano confirms Liverpool make contact to sign £40m Defender

According to reports, Liverpool and Sporting Lisbon are in negotiations for the summer transfer of Goncalo Inacio.

The reigning Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain are also interested in the 21-year-old center-back from Portugal.

Sporting, a dominant club in Portugal, is ready to let go of Inacio but will demand at least €45 million (£40 million) in exchange for the talented kid.

According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Liverpool and Brighton and Hove Albion are in negotiations to capture Argentine international midfielder Alexis Mac Allister during the summer transfer season.

Inacio has made 23 starts and six substitute appearances in the Portuguese league this season.

The 21-year-old has given three assists in those games.
