Reports: Liverpool confident of completing three major signings soon

According to reports cited by Football Insider, Liverpool is become more and more optimistic about landing three high-profile players before early July.

The three players have emerged as the club’s primary objectives heading into the 2023–24 season, and the Reds are currently negotiating contracts with Mason Mount, Alexis Mac Allister, and Ryan Gravenberch.

After a disappointing Premier League season, Liverpool is eager to overhaul its midfield this summer.

When their present contracts expire this summer, Naby Keita, James Milner, and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are all expected to leave the organization, severely depleting Jurgen Klopp’s midfield.

Mount has been a target for Liverpool throughout this season with the 24-year-old failing to agree a new deal with Chelsea.

Football Insider sources revealed last Friday (28 April) that both Liverpool and Arsenal have prepared offers to sign Mount this summer.

Mac Allister is also on Liverpool’s radar after impressing at Brighton and winning the World Cup with Argentina, and this site’s sources understand that Liverpool have made behind-the-scenes contact with Mac Allister’s camp over a move.

The 24-year-old has scored 11 goals and assisted twice in 34 appearances across all competitions for the Seagulls to help Brighton climb to sixth in the Premier League table.

As for Gravenberch, the 20-year-old Netherlands international could look to move on from Bayern Munich after failing to cement a starting spot in the starting lineup – he has played just 377 minutes of league football since joining the German giants last summer.

It is understood that Jurgen Klopp is a big admirer of all three players and has given the green light to the Liverpool board to complete the signings as soon as possible.
