Greatness can be achieved in multiple ways either in a moment or years of hard work.
The most important thing is that these players are admired by Arsenal fans for their contribution to their dear club.

10. David Seaman

He is the highest-ranked goalkeeper in the history of the club. He had everything you’d want in a goalkeeper, Athletism, Intelligence  and very calm. Along with Stevie Bould, Tony Adams, Martin Keown, Lee Dixon, and Nigel Winterburn, Seaman was part of the most provident defense in Europe in their playing days.

9. Cliff Bastin

Cliff was the highest goal scorer in the history of Arsenal with 178 goals until Ian Wright broke the record in 1997. He became a star in the 1930s. Bastin was feared by many defenses due to his fine finishing touch.
Towards the end of his playing days, he swapped his striking position for the midfield. However, he performed well in the new role.

Pires link-up play with Thierry Henry and Ashley Cole was a joy to watch. Every defender in the world dreaded facing the combination of the trio.
The Frenchman won two FA cups and two Premier League titles in his 189 appearances for the gunners.

Also, known for his creativity in the middle of the Park alongside the likes of Cliff Bastin, Ted Drake, and David Jack. The closest comparison to James in the modern era is Dennis Bergkamp, though he was not a prolific goal scorer like the Dutchman.

Liam Brady stood head above his trustees during his time with the Gunners. The talented left-footed player was known for his high-quality passing, vision, and close control, which made him an excellent playmaker.

In 1980 Brady departed the club for Sampdoria which did not go down well with several Arsenal fans.

5. Ian Wright

He spent 19 years of his playing career in Arsenal.

His leadership qualities made him stand out. He was one of the youngest captains in Arsenal history leading the team for 14 years.

Although he was a leader under George Graham, Adams helped manage the transition to Arsene Wenger’s reign, modifying his game in the style of the Frenchman. That quality that made him reinvent himself was a testament to his undoubted ability.

3. Patrick Viera

Patrick Viera was a central midfielder, with good around abilities, known for his aggressive and highly competitive style of play, an attitude that was instrumental in him excelling as captain of the club.
He guided the Gunners to their unbeaten record in the 2003/04 season.

The Frenchman lifted four FA Cups and three league titles during his time at the club.

Viera started a career in coaching at Manchester City Academy in 2013. He has managed the New York City FC club of Major League Soccer (MLS) and Nice in the French League 1. He is currently the manager of the Premier League side Crystal Palace.

He helped transform Arsenal under Arsene Wenger as the Gunners played one of the most attractive football in the league. The Dutchman made 375 appearances and won three Premier League titles, four FA Cup trophies, and reach the 2006 UEFA during his time at the club.

The highest goal scorer for Arsenal with 174 goals in his 8-year reign at the club is regarded by many club fans as the Best Arsenal player ever, Though he made a surprising second come back to the Emirates Stadium in 2012.

His combination of physical and technical skills made him a living nightmare for defenders. For Arsenal fans, seeing Henry was like a beautiful dream.
