Manchester United set to seal deal for Ligue 1 star midfielder after contact with the player’s agent.
Manchester United have reportedly spoken to Boubacar Kamara’s agent about a possible move for the Marseille star midfielder before the end of the January transfer window.
The 22-year-old’s contract with his Ligue 1 side is due to expire at the end of June, and he is expected to depart this year, either on a cut-price deal this month or for free this summer.
Man United remains heavily linked to the Frenchman, and the signing of Anthony Martial by Sevilla could open the door for the Red Devils to make a move before the end of the month.
According to the Daily Mail, the 20-time English champions have spoken to Kamara’s agent about the possibility of signing him over the next week.
Also, the report claims Marseille wants £10m for the midfielder this month, and Aston Villa and Leeds United are also said to be keen to bring him to the Premier League.
Kamara has represented France for every youth team from the U17s through to the U21s, he made his professional debut for the club in a Coupe de la Ligue match in December 2016
Kamara has once again been a key player for his club during the 2021-22 campaign, making 24 appearances in all competitions and contributing a goal in the process.
