Liverpool tipped to sign “highly rated” £65million star, who wants Anfield move

Liverpool is seventh in the Premier League after yesterday’s loss to Brighton, ten points behind archrivals Manchester United.

The Reds must step up significantly if they want to secure a spot in the UEFA Champions League for the following season.

This month, the team has to be strengthened, especially in the middle, and Moises Caicedo has been a target of ours for some time.

Former Premier League goalkeeper Paul Robinson has predicted that Liverpool will pay over the odds to sign the “highly-rated” Ecuadorian international.

The retired shot-stopper stated:

“There will be a bidding war for him. Man United, Liverpool, Chelsea – I’m sure they are all interested in him.

“They will have to pay a premium though because it is Brighton. The way that they operate they do not sell their best players on the cheap. They have shown that time and time again. The structure is right there.

“Caicedo is very highly-rated and if he is sold he will be sold for over the odds I imagine.”

According to a claim that The Mirror published earlier this month, the 21-year-old midfielder may be released by the Seagulls in 2025 in exchange for a £65 million transfer fee.

In addition, the South American star has reportedly told his buddies that he wants to transfer to Anfield, according to a recent article from Football Insider.

Caicedo led Brighton’s midfield last night as they totally outplayed Liverpool. The child controlled the pace of play in the middle of the park by persistently pressing for and winning the ball.

The Reds lacked energy, and to strengthen the midfield, we need a guy with energy like Moises Caicedo. Should Liverpool spend £65 million to sign him, in your opinion?
