According to the latest reports in the Spanish media, the transfer story surrounding Aurelien Tchouameni has taken a new twist.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Liverpool had approached the French international, but he chose to join Real Madrid instead.

However, according to today’s articles from AS and Sport (press image below), the scenario is altogether different, and Liverpool may end up grabbing the £69 million-rated star.

Tchouameni’s statement is said to be quite similar to Mbappe’s, who first agreed to join Madrid but then changed his mind and decided to stay in Paris.

According to AS, the Ligue 1 club is seeking a sum of 80 million euros plus bonuses for Tchouameni’s sale. Los Blancos, on the other hand, are seeking a contract worth 50-60 million euros with add-ons.

According to the news source, PSG’s interest is driving up the price, but the player does not want to stay in France, therefore his only other alternative, aside from Madrid, is to join Liverpool.
