“Just frightening” – Gabriel Agbonlahor gives his Liverpool Fc vs Chelsea Carabao Cup final prediction
Liverpool will be facing Chelsea Fc in the Carabao Cup final on Sunday but could be without two of their key players.
However, the reds are tipped to beat the blues in the Carabao Cup final, despite the absence of Roberto Firmino and possibly Diogo Jota.
The Anfield outfit will go into the game on the back of an emphatic 6-0 win over Leeds United in the Premier League on Wednesday night.
The reds won the game without Firmino or Jota, who were both sidelined due to injuries.
Although with such players being unavailable in recent matches, former Aston Villa striker Gabriel Agbonlahor still believes Liverpool’s forward options are “frightening”.
Agbonlahor shares his thoughts on why he’s backing Liverpool to beat Chelsea and lift the Carabao Cup on Sunday.
“It would be a blow to be without them,” Agbonlahor told Football Insider.
“But now they’ve got the numbers to be able to cope. Mane, Salah, and Diaz is scary front three. That’s just frightening.
“Chelsea will not have much experience of playing against Diaz so that’s going to be a bit of a new one.
“I think Liverpool will win that final, I really do. It’s a good test for a Champions League final, that could easily be the Champions League final this season.
“It’s going to be a fascinating game and I can’t wait to watch it.”
