“I’m coming to Liverpool” – watch Liverpool sent transfer message as the reds want to sign ‘technically brilliant’ £173,000/week PSG star midfielder better than Thiago Alcantara and Marcelo Brozovic
Liverpool has been linked with a deal for a midfielder valued at £15 million who is currently playing on the margins of his current team.
The Reds’ midfield has suffered with up to four central midfielders out injured due to their up to ten first-team ailments.

With less than 10 days remaining in the transfer window, a club can be pressured into buying a new midfielder due to fan unhappiness with their slow season debut.
Leandro Paredes of PSG is one player who might become a target because he is currently on the team’s periphery and is reasonably priced.
Leandro Paredes, 28, has been mentioned in recent reports as a potential transfer target for Liverpool, who are looking to improve their midfield options before the market closes.
The advent of Vitinha, who came this summer, has forced the Argentinian, who is valued at £15.3M, to lose his spot in the first squad.
In midfield, Marco Verratti is also a top choice, with Paredes currently serving as a backup.
He currently makes around £173k per week, which would make him one of the Reds’ highest earners if he signed. This presents a problem for the club.
He is undoubtedly a talented and seasoned midfielder, but there are also less expensive and younger options available.
Paredes would be the ideal signing for Liverpool if they wanted to add experience and coverage for Fabinho, but it’s unclear what age group the team may target given how desperate they are for players right now due to injuries.
Paredes would add midfield control, but his pay, playing time, and age all now in doubt.
Only Thiago in the current Liverpool midfield comes close to Paredes’ passing range and vision. Paredes is a deep-lying midfielder.
We are aware of Thiago’s history with injuries, that he can only actually start 17–24 games per season, and that the midfield control isn’t the same without him.
According to his statistics, he is statistically comparable to Jorgino, Marcelo Brozovic, and Joo Moutinho. He is in the 99th percentile for passes and passes completed as well as the 93rd percentile for assists per 90.
He would provide control in the middle of the field, but because of his low pressure rating (7th percentile), he would need to play a deeper role in midfield.
