Former Serie A striker Christian Vieri believes that if Sadio Mane leaves this summer, Napoli forward Victor Osimnhen would be an excellent signing for Liverpool.

He believes the Nigerian is ideal for the club since manager Jurgen Klopp’s squads are built around running.

Bayern Munich is interested in signing Mane, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

As a result, they’ll be on the lookout for a replacement for the Senegalese, who has been with the club since joining from Southampton in 2016. As Vieri told Bobo TV (via Napoli Magazine), the Reds should sign Osimhen.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, if a team wants to sign Osimhen, they want it done as soon as possible so they can locate a suitable replacement.

The Nigerian is valued at €100 million by the Serie A club.

If the Reds want to sign him, they will have to battle with Manchester United and Arsenal, both of whom are keen.
