Deal agreed: Liverpool set to complete Wolves Ace midfielder transfer in a deal worth £44million

Liverpool have reportedly committed to the transfer of Wolves midfielder Matheus Nunes, with a deal set to be agreed for him to move to Anfield for £44million in the summer.

According to a report from the Telegraph, which did a thorough investigation into Liverpool’s recent transfer activity and their future plans, Nunes is now reportedly anticipated to finalize a move before next season.

Before joining Wolves, Nunes made an impression at Sporting Lisbon. Although he hasn’t quite been at his best in the Premier League so far, he still appears to be highly regarded by key figures at Liverpool.

The Telegraph claims that LFC assistant Pep Lijnders, who sanctioned the recruitment of players like Darwin Nunez, Luis Diaz, and Cody Gakpo, is crucial to some of these choices.

Jude Bellingham of Borussia Dortmund is still the player the Merseyside giants want above all, according to the Telegraph, as Fabrizio Romano also noted in his exclusive Daily Briefing for CaughtOffside.

With Jordan Henderson, James Milner, Thiago Alcantara, and Fabinho all not performing at their best, Liverpool must consider replacing some of their current midfielders. Nunes could be another solid option to join alongside Bellingham.
