The Paris saint Germain (PSG) star Kylian Mbappe’s future is up in the air with the striker reportedly keen to leave the club in the January transfer window, with links to Liverpool, Chelsea and Real Madrid.

Many football fans are concerned about Kylian Mbappe’s future. Mbappe, who has been linked to Real Madrid for some time, wants to leave Paris Saint-Germain in January, as Marca reported earlier this week.

Mbappe then moves to where? According to the article, Liverpool is Mbappe’s only realistic choice, and only a select group of elite clubs will have the resources and reputation to recruit the Frenchman.

Chelsea may be one of Mbappe’s other alternatives given their resources and popularity. Under Todd Boehly, the Blues made significant summer purchases, and the rumors about their pursuit of Cristiano Ronaldo show that the American won’t hesitate to sign a world-renowned athlete.

According to RMC Sport, Mbappe was genuinely questioned about his future earlier this week at a charity event.

A member of the crowd inquired about the 23-year-preference old’s for joining Real Madrid or Liverpool, but unsurprisingly, he remained mum on the subject.

He “displayed a big smile” in response to the query, according to the report, before handing the microphone to renowned comic Jamel Debbouze.

The organizer was forced to remind guests that he would not answer questions regarding his future in response to the query.

Mbappe hinted that he would be considering leaving PSG as he aims winning a second World Cup next month in Qatar, but that didn’t stop him.

“For now, a second World Cup,” he said when talking about his short terms goals. “After that, I don’t know.”

The transfer rumors surrounding Mbappe don’t appear to be going away because he chose not to declare his allegiance to PSG throughout the circumstance.

It is unclear whether he will truly leave PSG in January and whether Chelsea will be one of the clubs to make a move.
