‘To be honest’ – Watch Jude Bellingham finally makes shocking claim about his future amid reports Liverpool have a higher chance to sign him
Reported Liverpool transfer target Jude Bellingham has insisted that he isn’t thinking about a move to the Premier League.
With Borussia Dortmund, the 19-year-old is currently in England as they get ready to play Manchester City this evening.
Bellingham spoke about his future while hosting a press conference yesterday via MrBeanyman on YouTube.

Jude Bellingham is Liverpool’s top target
“I’m very happy here at the minute and focused on all the goals we have as a team at Borussia Dortmund, I’m really not looking past that,” said the midfielder, who Liverpool have reportedly been tracking.
“The club have done loads for me, made me feel very welcome since I first came and given me the opportunities to develop even further. So, to look past that and into the future would be disrespectful.”
Bellingham was then asked whether he was interested in moving back to England as a ‘long-term goal.’ But the England man wasn’t in the mood to give anything away.
“It’s not something I’m thinking about to be honest. I’ve got a massive game against Man City tomorrow, I think to be even thinking about something like that would be crazy,” he insisted.
The race to sign Bellingham next summer is set to be an intense one. For a long while, Liverpool have been thought to be one of the clubs hoping to be at the front of the pack.
Just yesterday even, there was a little update on whether or not that’s likely to be the case.
Speaking on Football Daily, Sky Sports Germany journalist Florian Plettenburg said Liverpool have ‘a very good chance’ to sign Bellingham.
“I’m totally convinced he will leave Dortmund in 2023,” said Plettenburg. “Maybe to Liverpool, maybe to Manchester United. I think these are two teams who have a very good chance to get him.”
Liverpool will be even more in need of a top-tier midfield reinforcement come next summer.
Thiago’s magnificent performance against Ajax last night shown once more how much better The Reds are when a top-tier midfielder is on the field.
Bellingham may not be that yet, but he is undoubtedly moving in that direction. Of course, his anticipated price for Liverpool reflects that.
The Reds must stop their stalling, though. They will need to shell out top cash for Bellingham if they truly want him.
The player’s response in this case shouldn’t be interpreted too broadly. Bellingham seems to be a talented young man, and at this point it seems unlikely that he would publicly engineer a transfer away from Dortmund.
