“I can’t wait to Play” – Watch Liverpool official unveiling of Portuguese playmaker Fabio Carvalho as he completes move from Fulham and shirt number revealed
The transfer of Fabio Carvalho from Fulham to Liverpool is now finalized.
At Anfield next season, Portuguese superstar Fabio Carvalho will don Ben Davies of Liverpool’s jersey number.
He is eager to begin working with the Reds before the new term.
After formally introducing Fabio Carvalho as their new acquisition on Sunday, Liverpool has given him the number 28 jersey at Anfield.

It has taken a while for Carvalho to get to Merseyside because the Reds wanted to recruit him on the last day of the January transfer window.
However, six months later, they have finally secured their man, and Carvalho has expressed his joy at joining Jurgen Klopp’s team. On that occasion, they were unable to close a deal.
The gifted teen will don the number 28 jersey at Anfield in the upcoming campaign.
When the new season begins, Carvalho hopes to have a positive effect at Liverpool.
‘It’s just an amazing feeling to be here at one of the biggest clubs in the world, if not the biggest.
” So, I’m just happy to be here and I can’t wait to get started,’ Carvalho told Liverpool’s official website.
‘Once you hear that Liverpool are interested, there’s only one thought in your mind, which is to join them and try to be in and around the team. Hopefully I can achieve big things.
‘I spoke with everyone, and the manager, and it just felt so natural. When things become natural it’s just so much easier to make a decision.’
Carvalho had a standout season at Fulham in the Championship last year. He will don the number 28 for the upcoming campaign after displacing Ben Davies, who will don the number 24.
The 19-year-old had a breakout season at Craven Cottage last year, contributing significantly to the team’s Championship title win with 10 goals and eight assists.
In January’s FA Cup fourth-round matchup against Manchester City, he also scored.
Forcing his way into Klopp’s starting lineup in 2022–23 as Liverpool looks to expand on their cup double from the previous season, the Portugal Under-21 international will now try to do the same.
