Michael Owen sends strong warning message after one Liverpool transfer
Former Liverpool ace Michael Owen on Twitter acknowledged that he was still having trouble understanding Sadio Mane’s move to Bayern Munich.
Despite Liverpool’s efforts to sign the 30-year-old to a new deal that would retain him past the summer of 2023, the former Southampton star agreed to a £27.5 million transfer to the German champions.
With the departure of the former No. 10, the Reds’ robust forward line, which originally included the Senegalese international, Bobby Firmino, and Mo Salah, has begun to disintegrate.
I’m still struggling to understand why Sadio Mane would leave Liverpool for Bayern Munich but he’s been an outstanding player, given great service and will go down as a club legend.

The hope still exists, though, that at least one of their established front-line options can be tied down until the present expiration date of their terms after witnessing Mane go out the exit door.
Despite previous setbacks, the club is still eager to move negotiations with our No. 11 forward. However, in order to reach the resolution that many supporters are hoping for before the start of the new season, a compromise on both sides may very well be required.
If negotiations continue into the current campaign, it will become less probable that Salah would make a commitment beyond 2023, which will leave Klopp’s team with a lot of noise and rumours around their dealings, which the German would much rather avoid.
