Sadio Mane has said goodbye to Liverpool after completing his transfer to Bayern Munich, and Liverpool has confirmed that he has left the team to join them.
According to the ECHO, it was reported last week that after the two clubs reached a €41 million agreement for the Senegalese, the whole package to bring Mane to Germany is worth just over £35 million.

The Reds will get a fixed price of €32 million (£27.4 million) and an additional €9 million (£7.7 million) in add-ons.
Liverpool will receive €6 million (£5.1 million) from those add-ons based on appearances, and the remaining €3 million (£2.6 million) based on individual and team accomplishments.
The amount exceeds the £31 million plus a further £2.5 million in add-ons that the Reds paid Southampton for the forward in 2016.
The price Liverpool paid Bayern for Thiago Alcantara in the summer of 2020 may wind up being nearly doubled. Only one year remained on the midfielder’s contract at the Allianz Arena at the time.
It is understood that Mane’s transfer to the German champions did not result in any more revenue for the Saints.
The 30-year-contract old’s at Anfield expires in the summer, and Liverpool initially turned down two bids from the Bavarians for him. The opening offer was for €25 million plus €5 million in add-ons, and it was based on both the player’s individual and team achievements.
Bayern’s second offer was a £30 million package, but it was only initially worth £23.5 million. Liverpool would only be eligible to receive the full sum if Mane won the Ballon d’Or three times in a row and Bayern won the Champions League in all three of the seasons he agreed to sign on for.
After six seasons with the Reds at Anfield, Mane departs the club after tallying 120 goals in 269 appearances and collecting the Premier League, Champions League, FIFA Club World Cup, European Super Cup, FA Cup, and League Cup along the way.
