Liverpool tables £68.2m as star midfielder takes final decision on transfer
In recent weeks, Liverpool have been heavily linked with Monaco and French International Aurelien Tchouameni, and the latest rumours are not promising.
After losing in the Champions League final against Real Madrid, it appears that they will lose to the Los Blancos in the race to sign Tchouameni.
According to a report published by Mundo Deportivo today, Liverpool have made an offer for the Les Bleus midfielder, but he is unimpressed.
According to the Spanish media outlet, PSG has also made an offer to sign him from Monaco, but the player has decided to join the La Liga champions Real Madrid.
The 22-year-old midfielder was initially valued at roughly 60 million euros by the Ligue 1 club, according to MD. However, Liverpool’s and PSG’s interest has pushed the price up to 80 million euros (£68.2 million).

According to a Catalan news source, Real Madrid is poised to make huge move to sign Tchouameni after missing out on signing Mbappe, and the transaction may be worth up to 100 million euros with add-ons.
Jurgen Klopp needs to strengthen the midfield department at Anfield, given the aging midfield. The UEFA Nations League winner appears to be joining the European Champions.
