AFCON: Mohammed Salah and Sadio Mane set for AFCON final showdown
Egypt advanced to the final of the AFCON following the victory over host nation Cameroon at the Paul Biya Stadium, Olembé
Liverpool duo of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane Mane will face off when Senegal tackle Egypt in the final on Sunday night.
Salah’s side booked their place on Thursday night beating Cameroon on penalties after drawing 0-0 after 120 minutes.
Before the game Cameroon captain Vincent Aboubakar told Salah that he wasn’t as good as Paris Saint-Germain attacker Kylian Mpabbe.
Salah vs Mane
Sadio Mane will meet Liverpool teammate Mohamed Salah in the African Cup of Nations final.
Egypt booked their ticket on Thursday night by beating hosts Cameroon on penalties.
Mane scored and assisted 24 hours earlier when he helped guide Senegal past Burkino Faso in the other semifinal on Wednesday.
The final takes place on Sunday with kick-off at 7 pm.
