Three Reasons why Manchester United are yet to sack Coach ole Gunnar Solskjaer
Three Reasons why Manchester United are yet to sack Coach ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The 5-0 defeat suffered by Manchester United is one of their most humiliating defeat at the hands of arch-rivals Liverpool is more than enough for the Red devil to show Ole Gunnar Solskjaer the exit door.
United suffered their worst ever home defeat against the Reds and conceded 5 goals at Old Trafford without scoring for the first time since 1955.
The defeat at Old Trafford means United have lost three of their last four Premier League games, just one point out of a possible 12 points.
Many united fateful will ask why the Norwegian tactician has not been sacked with the strings of poor results, as things don’t look to be getting better soon.
We take a good look at 3 Reasons United are reluctant to fire Ole any time soon.
1. He is Trusted by the board
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has the backing of his employers that is the Manchester United board. One of the reasons he was hired was him being a former player who knows the dreams and desires of the club. United are loyal to him and wants to treat him with respect no matter the result.
What this means is that Ole will get more time at Old Trafford. But for how long?
United will be patient with him till things get worst before taking action. let’s hope it won’t be too late before the set time.
2. Waiting for the right moment
Before now Man United had not played any of the big six in the premier league or a top team in Europe. Many fans got carried away by the number of victories recorded against the so-called minor teams. The game against Villareal and Atalanta revealed a glimpse of what was coming.
Bringing in a new manager at the moment with games against Tottenham, Atalanta, and Manchester City may backfire and put the new manager under undue pressure.
one of the options includes waiting after the International breaks before bringing a new manager, who will get to know the players well. The second option is to wait till December when united would have played the tougher oppositions, and face the likes of Norwich and Crystal Palace.
3. The Glazier have their eyes elsewhere
The bitter truth is that the Glaziers don’t care enough at the moment to make a decision.
They have got their eyes on their NFL team, which is doing well at this time.
According to reports, the Glazers are interested in bidding for a cricket IPFL franchise.
Glazers are looking to win the bidding to take over one of the two new IPL clubs being developed as the league develops.
