The red devils have brought back their legend Cristiano Ronaldo back to Old Trafford for a sum of €19m from serie A side Juventus after spending only two seasons in Italy.
The 36-year-old returns to Manchester United 12 years after he left for Real Madrid. The Portuguese netted 118 goals in 292 appearances for the red devils, winning 3 Premier League titles and one Champions League trophy under the management of sir Alex Ferguson.
Ronaldo is one of the most respected players in football history, he has won about 5 prestigious Ballon d’Or awards. A Manchester United team full of young, inexperienced, skillful, and promising players would be in good need of an experienced and good player who has good leadership skills to guide them on and off the pitch. Hence the following reasons are reasons why Ronaldo’s return should make Manchester United win trophies.
1. Cristiano Ronaldo is a very unique, excellent, and experienced football player who has helped big clubs like Real Madrid, Juventus, and Manchester United win so many silverware in the past. His experience and leadership in and off the pitch is currently what The Manchester united Team needs to compete for silverware this season coupled with the history Ronaldo has with Manchester united, the board, and the owners will back Ronaldo to help bring Manchester United back to its old Glory days.
2. Cristiano Ronaldo is a very confident player and would undoubtedly step up to the occasion when the need arises. He’s a very good dribbler, a creative player, and a prolific goalscorer in world football history. The Portuguese forward has 794 goals in 1083 appearances for club and country. Manchester United will need to score a lot of goals and win most of their matches to compete and win silverware.
3.Ronaldo can synergize with a lot of big names in the manchester united team with the likes of Paul labile Pogba, Bruno Fernandes, Harry Maguire with young and sensational youngsters such as Marcus Rashford, Mason Greenwood, and Jadon Sancho. Cristiano Ronaldo can motivate team football and at the same time inspire his teammates to showcase their talents without putting the entire team at risk. Ronaldo will increase their confidence and self-esteem on and off the pitch which is the quality of a good player. Cristiano Ronaldo is the highest goal scorer in the history of football and has been breaking records non-stop and would love to take Manchester united to greater heights.
