What Luis Suarez was caught on tape doing at Anfield after Liverpool beat Atletico Madrid.
Former Liverpool striker Luis Suarez returned to Anfield on Wednesday night as the Reds defeated Atletico Madrid 2-0 in the UEFA Champions League.
Luis Suarez stayed behind after the game on Wednesday night to seek out Liverpool Legend Kenny Dalglish.
The Uruguayan was booed by fans in attendance for most of the match as he failed to help his team earn an all important three points at Anfield.
Suarez reunited with a few of his old friends, he was seen with Jordan Henderson and another familiar face.
The 34-year-old was caught on camera sharing an embrace with Dalglish, before having a quick chat as captured by LFCTV
Dalglish was the coach in charge of the Reds when the Uruguayan forward was signed by Liverpool in January 2011 and Suárez’s only silverware, the 2012 League Cup, while at the club was won under the leadership of the Scottish.
Moments later, the duo are shown posing for a photograph alongside another successful forward in the club’s illustrious history: Fernando Torres.
Dalglish stands between Suárez and Torres holding an Atlético Madrid third kit, the shirt worn by Simeone’s team at Anfield in their 2-0 loss.
