Watch FSG reveals interest in RB Salzburg superstar as Jude Bellingham alternative
Liverpool is considering a Croatian star as a substitute for Jude Bellingham.
Luka Sucic, a midfielder for RB Salzburg, is being considered by Liverpool as a more practical replacement for Jude Bellingham.
Bellingham is unquestionably a perfect target for Liverpool, but it seems to be getting more and more difficult to sign him.
AS claims that Real Madrid and Chelsea are also interested in the midfielder, so Liverpool will have a difficult time luring him to Anfield.
Now, according to GOAL (via TEAMtalk), Liverpool are considering a move for Croatian midfielder Sucic as they plan alternative targets to Bellingham.
At 19 years old, Sucic is already a regular for Salzburg, and managed eight league goals from midfield last season.
Not only will Sucic be more attainable due to less competition for the midfielder, but there’s no doubt he would come at a significantly lower price.
Bellingham, according to the AS report, might cost around €100 million, although according to Transfermarkt, Salzburg have never paid more than £30 million for a player.
With an aging midfielder for Liverpool, it would be wise to sign a young player who hasn’t yet reached his full potential.
Sucic can gain experience and grow by competing against players like Thiago and Jordan Henderson, eventually taking their place on the team.
