Liverpool transfer target Sofyan Amrabat ‘set for’ massive deadline day move

Liverpool have endured a miserable season under Jurgen Klopp this time around

Sofyan Amrabat could be on the verge of a significant deadline-day transfer from Fiorentina to Barcelona as a result of his performances for Morocco at the 2018 World Cup.

This month, the Reds have been linked with the ace as manager Jurgen Klopp looks to fix his team’s problems on the field after a poor stretch of results.

Conor Gallagher along with three other players are being “considered” by Liverpool.
Amrabat was up in the Netherlands and attended Utrecht’s academy before committing to Feyenoord in 2017.

Later, he played for Verona and Club Brugge until signing a contract with Fiorentina in 2020. And for his present employers, he has made 83 appearances.

Amrabat made the decision to represent Morocco internationally, and he was a key player as his nation defied the odds to advance to the World Cup semifinals before losing to eventual victors France.

The 26-year-old midfielder in Qatar played every minute of every game and established himself despite competing against many well-known figures.

Following his outstanding displays for his country, Klopp showed interest in the ace, and a move to the Premier League appeared to be in the works.

However, Barcelona will now try to recruit Amrabat before Tuesday’s transfer deadline expires, claims journalist Gerard Romero.

The Catalan giants would have no ownership rights to the player because the transfer would only be a loan agreement until the end of the season.
