REVEALED: Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham plan becomes clear amid strong Liverpool links as Florian Plettenberg issues major transfer update
Florian Plettenberg’s tweet suggests that Borussia Dortmund has accepted the fact that Jude Bellingham will leave in the summer.
The World Cup standout Mohammed Kudus would benefit from the German team’s interest in partially reinvesting the prospective money for the England international, according to Marc Behrenbeck, who provided an update to the reporter for Sky Sports Germany.
The Ghanaian international has already been predicted to leave Ajax in the summer after making an impression on the world stage in Qatar (to the point where Liverpool apparently made contact with the 22-year-old).
If the claim made is true, it’s good news for everyone involved because it more than suggests the highly regarded England star will leave in the summer.
Given that the player would both cover the void left by Bellingham and, presumably, have a potentially high resale value should they decide to trade Kudus in the future, the transfer makes a lot of sense from Dortmund’s perspective.
We can act fast in the market if the Bundesliga-based team has a replacement lined up and ready to go for the summer window, giving our local and European opponents little time to drag out discussions.
