Inter Milan sensational midfielder has been linked with a move to Liverpool.

The Reds haven’t strengthened their midfield since they last added Thiago two years ago, and much to the dismay of Liverpool supporters, despite being connected with a number of midfielders throughout summer, they were only able to sign an injury-prone Arthur on loan from Juventus.

Liverpool has been connected with several midfielders, including Inter Milan’s Brozovic, even after signing Arthur. Jurgen Klopp ‘wants’ to sign the 29-year-old in January, claims Calciomercato.

According to the Italian publication’s report, Inter Milan might still agree to the transfer of the midfielder in January, but only if they can find someone to take his place. Youri Tielemans of Leicester City is one candidate that the Serie A club is reportedly considering.

Football Insider has reported that, in response to the team’s sluggish start to the season, Liverpool owners FSG have “made finances available” to spend on a high-profile midfielder deal in January.

With an Inter deal that lasts until 2026, Brozovic is presently valued by Transfermarkt at £36 million.

In January 2015, Brozovic, who is regarded as one of the best defensive midfielders in the world, moved to Inter on loan from Dinamo Zagreb. The move became permanent 18 months later.

He was an important member of Inter Milan’s 2020–21 championship team. He frequently plays for his country’s team as well. He has participated in all four of Croatia’s major tournaments and has 76 caps for the nation.

He was also a crucial member of the team in the 2018 World Cup, appearing in six of their seven games, including the championship match that they lost to France.
