Liverpool vs Arsenal Prediction: Michael Micheal Owen Makes bold Prediction ahead of Liverpool clash against Arsenal

Micheal Owen has made a bold prediction ahead of the Liverpool clash against Arsenal on Saturday evening.

Former Manchester United striker, Micheal Owen has tipped Liverpool to see off Arsenal with a convincing 3-1 home win in the Premier League on Saturday.

Jurgen Klopp’s side heads into the game having dropped points in their last two Premier League games, a 2-2 home draw against Brighton, and a shocking 3-2 defeat to West Ham United.

With just two wins in their last five domestic games, the reds sit fourth on the Premier League table, four points behind table-toppers Chelsea.

Arsenal on the other hand have been in a good run of form in recent weeks, unbeaten in their last 8 Premier League games, winning four of their last four matches, causing them to move up to fifth place on the table, two points behind Liverpool ahead of Saturday clash.

Despite the Gunner’s recent good form, former Liverpool striker Micheal Owen believes Jurgen Klopp’s men will come out tops to claim all three points when they host Arsenal at Anfield.

“This fixture has produced some classics down the years, could we see another here? Owen Wrote in his column for Bet Victor.

“The Reds followed up that draw against Brighton with a defeat against West Ham and Jurgen Klopp was understandably not happy. They’ve had some defensive issues in recent weeks and that will need sorting.

“That’s now three wins in a row for Arsenal and just one goal conceded in that time. This will be a major test of where they are though.

“I fancy Liverpool to get back to winning ways here. I can see Arsenal scoring but I don’t trust their defence, 3-1 Liverpool.”

The last time both sides meet Liverpool, recorded a convincing 3-0 victory over Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium back in April, with Diogo jota netting a brace and a goal from Mohamed Salah.

Liverpool have enjoyed an impressive record over Arsenal in recent years, losing just once in the league to the Gunners since April 2015.
