Liverpool transfer: Liverpool FC eyeing move for Juventus star forward and could include Ibrahima Konate in swap deal
Liverpool FC are plotting a move to sign Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic.
Vlahovic left Fiorentina to join Juventus in January of this year. The Serbian, one of the game’s most promising young players, has six goals in ten league games this season.

Losing Vlahovic halfway through the season would be disastrous for Juventus, who are currently in the hunt for the top four following a rocky start.
Liverpool, though, is reportedly interested in signing the Juventus striker and might add Ibrahima Konate in a swap deal, according to Calciomercatoweb.
In brief bursts, Konate has shown he can contend with Joel Matip and Virgil van Dijk for the starting job in the second half of the season.
Selling the French defender wouldn’t make much sense because Konate could be considered Van Dijk’s long-term replacement and he is nearing the end of his career.
Darwin Nunez may have serious concerns if Liverpool decides to sign Vlahovic. The addition of another young forward so soon after the Uruguayan, who only signed during the summer, may worry Nunez.

In a thrilling match at Old Trafford, substitute Jadon Sancho scored his first Premier League goal in nearly four months as Manchester United rallied from a goal down to draw 2-2 with managerless Leeds.
Sancho, who entered the game with United trailing 2-0, tied the score (70) by combining with Luke Shaw down the left after Marcus Rashford had headed the hosts even (62). This was Rashford’s 20th goal of the year in all competitions.
Wilfried Gnonto’s exquisite low drilled effort from the edge of the area gave Leeds, who fired head coach Jesse Marsch on Monday, the lead after just 55 seconds. Early in the second period, Raphael Varane converted a low cross from substitute Crysencio Summerville to give Leeds the lead (48).

United are without a win in their last two games in the league, with one of them coming against today’s opponents at Selhurst Park last month.
It was a fast start in the 3 PM kick-off and with roughly five minutes on the clock, United were awarded a penalty after Will Hughes blocked Marcus Rashford’s cross with his arm.
Bruno Fernandes, one of United’s best performers since the turn of the year, stepped up and made no mistake from 12 yards as he rolled his side into the lead, as seen below.

Liverpool were far from quick off the mark in the opening section of their tie with Wolves, which saw Joel Matip’s indecision hand the hosts an easy early lead.
The Cameroonian failed to show sufficient aggression when presented the opportunity to steal back possession from Hwang Hee-chan but it was the lack of communication preceding the South Korean’s effort that allowed the forward to break past the Reds’ backline.
The situation didn’t improve quickly either, with Craig Dawson capitalising on the malaise in the visitors’ box to fire home from close range.

Manchester United reached their first domestic cup final since 2018 as a 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest sealed a 5-0 aggregate goal triumph in their Carabao Cup semifinal.
The Red Devils held a 3-0 edge from the first leg and were firm favorites to progress to the final, where Newcastle United awaits.
In the end, second-half goals from the returning Anthony Martial and Fred were enough to kill off any faint Forest hopes of a shock turnaround.
Erik ten Hag introduced Martial, Rashford, and Jadon Sancho off the bench, the latter earning a huge roar from the crowd as he made his first appearance since late October. All three looked lively, but it was Martial who got the breakthrough, drilling home with his left foot after his poor pass had seen Rashford’s effort blocked.
Rashford directly turned provider three minutes later, turning the ball back across the goal following a quite brilliant travel cross from Bruno Fernandes.
Fred was the only other player in the six-yard box, and he could hardly believe his luck as he nudged the ball in with his thigh.
The victory tonight means United will face Newcastle United at Wembley Stadium on February 26

Harvey Elliott has fired Liverpool ahead at the Amex with a delightfully tidy finish following superb work from Naby Keita and Mo Salah in the build-up.
Naby keita helped win the ball high in the Reds half before unleashing the Egyptian King down the right flank.
The former Roma forward drove towards the Seagulls’ box and instead of opting to switch the ball to Cody Gakpo on the other side of the area, he slid a neat pass into Elliott who slotted past Jason Steele in the Brighton goal.
