Serbia and Switzerland have put on an amazing first half display; the score is at 2-2.
The Swiss entered the game knowing that they would likely advance to the World Cup’s round of 16 with just a point.
However, Xheridan Shaqiri, a former winger for Stoke City and Liverpool, helped them start even better than necessary.
The initial cross from Ricardo Rodriguez was cleared to Djibril Sow, who passed the ball to Shaqiri so that he could shoot past Vanja Milinkovic-Savic.
But the Swiss only held the lead for six minutes. The expected man scored Serbia’s equalizer. Aleksander Mitrovic was there to head Dusan Tadic’s cross beyond Gregor Kobel with a stunning header.
