Liverpool ‘remain interested’ in 21-year-old Premier League midfielder despite £75m valuation

Liverpool ‘have not given up hope’ of signing Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo.

Since the summer, the Reds have been linked to a move for the Ecuadorian, and while two other Premier League clubs are reportedly interested in the 21-year-services, old’s a report from Sky Sports (via the Liverpool Echo) indicates that Jurgen Klopp and company are still keen.

More rumors claim that the dynamic midfielder is “certainly interested” in moving to Anfield, but because he has a 20-year deal with the south coast club, the Seagulls value their No. 25 at around £75 million.

He played for Roberto De Zerbi’s team, which destroyed the Merseysiders most recently when we were defeated 3-0 at the Amex.

With former Brighton manager Graham Potter now in charge at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea are one of the other teams considering a move for the former Independiente del Valle player.

Liverpool’s top transfer priority for the summer is still Jude Bellingham, but the FA Cup champions are in desperate need of midfield reinforcements right now.
