Liverpool receives boosts as transfer target’s €45m asking price is slashed

According to speculations, Liverpool’s reported pursuit of Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Kouadio Kone appears to have gained momentum.

The Reds have been one of Kone’s admirers, according to the Liverpool Echo, who now cite Sport Bild as stating that his asking price has dropped from €45m to more like €30m.

After a difficult season, Kone appears to be a fantastic all-around midfielder and might be the ideal addition to give Jurgen Klopp’s team fresh life this summer.

The 21-year-old appears to be among the best young players in Europe in his position, so if he can go for a reasonable price, it would be great for Liverpool as they aim to add many players to that part of the pitch.
