Jurgen Klopp’s four-man transfer wishlist may be dependent on their Champions League triumph this Saturday. Liverpool will meet Real Madrid in a rematch of 2018 final, which the Reds lost.
Liverpool has big plans for the transfer window, but winning the Champions League could be crucial to their summer success. When the Reds face Real Madrid this weekend, they have a chance to win the Champions League.
That would cap off a fantastic season in which they’ve already won the FA Cup and the Carabao Cup. Liverpool may win the Champions League for the second time in three years.
Klopp, on the other hand, isn’t done yet, with four players being targeted for summer transfers when the market opens. The first point of call, though, is coming this weekend.
A win in the Champions League final with a total value of £109 million if they defeat Real Madrid, will provide a big boost to the club’s summer transfer plans.
Aberdeen star Calvin Ramsey has been eyed to provide back-up at right-back where Trent Alexander-Arnold is the only senior option. The Scotsman is not expected to cost a huge amount and might not be dependent on Liverpool’s success in the Champions League.
The remaining three, particularly Aurelien Tchouameni who appears to be on the verge of joining Real Madrid, may compel the Reds to dig deeper into their pockets. It adds more heat to the Saturday contest, where the winner could influence the Frenchman’s final decision.
